I find inspiration everywhere. On the street, at work, at home on Pinterest or sitting on my balcony reading the latest issue of my favorite magazine. I try to funnel this inspiration through this very blog and when I get the time, through my little shop on Etsy called Kindred Lovely.
My one wish, dream, whatever you'd like to call it, would be to spread my inspirational/creative moments entirely through this blog and my shop but, a girl's gotta eat. For now, I'm using my creative moments in random spurts. Hopefully one day I'll be able to fully let go and head on a creative path that truly satisfies my every desire. Now you may say that, that one day is now, today. However, I believe I need this interlude in order to truly realize and understand what I excel at. I see it as a period of reflection. Having a full time job has really helped me grow as a person, and I'm grateful. There are definitely elements about my job that I absolutely love, and elements that I hate. I've realized the things that I love can be applied towards my passion, which makes me find purpose in what I'm doing now. And that... makes me happy.
With all that being said, I had one of these creative moments the other day and headed to a vintage/thrift shop, snapped some shots and purchased a really funky gold bangle. Sometimes you need these moments to let your brain run wild and stray away from something completely different than work. My friend and very talented coworker Tad Wagner took these photos yet again. I love how they turned out.
Phew, that ended up being a pretty long post. Thanks for reading if you did!
